IMPROVING THE HEALTH CARE OF MSM/LGBTQ+ PATIENTS: Understanding and Eliminating Health Disparities. We are currently faced with a sexual health dilemma for gay, bisexual, and other men who have sex with men (MSM).The aim of this presentation is to provide a toolkit/guideline that can help clinicians understand the unique health needs of the MSM patient. To ensure that clinical environments are inclusive and non-judgmental and an opportunity for medical providers to reflect upon personal attitudes that might prevent them from providing the affirmative care needed in these patients. Standards of health care that are needed in the care continuum for MSM/LGBTQ+ patients are set and we can equip providers with tools for high-quality, culturally competent, LGBT-affirming care.
