The 2018 Alex Walker Memorial lecture, deluvered at the 2018 Nutritionist conference. Dr Walker was a pioneer, researcher and the first public health nutritionist, bringing the importance nutrition to global stage.

Terry Fox, an amputee that astounded the world with his physical achievement by attempting to run across Canada to raise money for cancer research. Today the Terry Fox marathon continues to take place and to date has raised more tnan R700M dollars.
