When patients present with dizziness this presents a broad differential to treating clinicians. Approximately 15% of these patients may have a serious cause. Testing for dizziness if not appropriately directed can drive up costs tremendously and place additional burdens on the healthcare system. In this talk we outline an evidence based approach to dizziness. We consider and discuss some of the differentials. The talk is directed at all healthcare professionals.
