Talk Description
The entry of generation Z into the nursing workforce comes with challenges, often driven by a lack of understanding the drivers of this generation. The common misperception is that they don't integrate well into the workforce because they are seen to be demanding. Research points us to a different direction; highlighting the specific characteristics, wants and needs of this generation. Once a better understanding is gained, then integration into the workforce becomes driven by specific strategies designed to meet the needs of this generation
