Talk Description
Since the use of the non-Vit K direct oral anticoagulants (DOAC's), the perception has been that bleeding risk is negligible. Although these drugs are safer than older oral Vit K direct anticoagulant therapy, the bleeding risk persists. Risk scoring (prediction), prevention and management of bleeding in the patient on anticoagulation therapy are discussed.
